Sell Your TechPrivacy Policy

This site (www.osemarketing.com, including "Sell Your Tech", the "Home Seller Guide" and the "Jewelry Seller Guide") is operated by OSE Marketing ("we", "us"). It publishes guides to selling used electronics, a house and jewelry, and links to our partners, Gizmogo, Trusted Home Offers and Worthy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, who receives it, how long it's kept, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
You don't need an account, and there are no forms on this site. Information is collected in two ways:
- Automatically, through advertising tags. We use Microsoft Advertising's Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag and the Google Ads tag. They record the pages you view, clicks on our quote buttons, and technical details such as your IP address, browser, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, the referring page, and the ad you clicked (including Microsoft's click ID, "msclkid", or Google's click ID, "gclid").
- When you email us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Microsoft and Google tags use cookies and similar technologies to measure how our ads perform and, if enabled, to show our ads to people who have visited this site. Examples:

Your consent choices. Every page shows a cookie banner where you can accept or reject advertising cookies, and you can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. We use Microsoft UET Consent Mode and Google Consent Mode: for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising cookies are not set unless you accept. If you reject, the tags don't store or read advertising cookies.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising cookies and of sharing your information for targeted advertising.
How we use information
- To measure which of our ads lead to visits and quote clicks.
- To improve our ads and this site.
- To show our ads to people who have visited this site (remarketing), only where you haven't opted out.
- To reply to messages you send us.
We don't sell your personal information for money, and we don't use it to identify you personally. Allowing Microsoft and Google to use advertising cookies for remarketing may count as "sharing" for targeted advertising under some U.S. state laws; you can opt out as described below.
Affiliate links
The quote and estimate buttons on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave our site and go to Gizmogo, Trusted Home Offers or Worthy through our affiliate network, MaxBounty. The link passes along a few tracking details (which ad group you came from, which button you clicked, and the Microsoft or Google click ID) so that we can be credited if you sign up, sell a device, submit jewelry or request a home estimate. We may earn a commission at no cost to you.
Anything you share with a partner, such as your name, phone number, email, property address, device information or payment details, is collected by that partner, not by us, and is covered by the partner's own privacy policy. Trusted Home Offers may contact you by phone about your request, as described on its site.
Who receives information
These companies receive data from your visit and handle it under their own privacy policies:
- Microsoft (Microsoft Advertising and the UET tag): Microsoft Privacy Statement
- Google (Google Ads tag and Google Fonts): Google Privacy Policy
- Netlify (our web host), which processes server logs such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site
- MaxBounty (affiliate tracking), Gizmogo (device buyback) and Trusted Home Offers (home value estimates and cash offers) and Worthy (jewelry auctions), only after you click a quote or estimate button
How long we keep information
- Advertising data is held by Microsoft and Google under their own retention periods; their cookies on your device last for the durations listed above.
- Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond and keep a record of the conversation, and deleted within 24 months.
- We don't run our own analytics database or keep visitor profiles.
Your choices
- Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to accept or reject advertising cookies at any time.
- Turn off personalized ads from Microsoft in your Microsoft ad settings.
- Turn off personalized ads from Google in Google My Ad Center.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in a supporting browser or extension.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California and other U.S. states, or the EEA and UK), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email info@osemarketing.com with the subject "Privacy request". We'll respond within 30 days and won't treat you differently for making a request. Because most visit data is held by Microsoft and Google rather than by us, we may also point you to their tools.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
